Who publishes this site
This site is published in a personal capacity by Sven Mathieu, a private individual. As French law allows for non-professional publishers, his address is not published: it has been given to the host. To reach me: contact@svenmathieu.fr.

Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, phone +1 559 288 7060 (vercel.com).
Like any host, Vercel records visitors’ IP addresses and browsers in its technical logs, to run and secure the site.
Your data
The contact form. Your name, email and message are used only to reply to you: this is my legitimate interest in answering the messages I receive (GDPR, article 6(1)(f)). All three fields are needed for me to reply. The message goes through the host, Vercel Inc., then reaches me on a private messaging service, Discord (Discord Inc.), both in the United States; my replies are sent from my mailbox at OVH, in France. These transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Data Privacy Framework), under which Vercel and Discord are certified. Your data is never sold, passed on to anyone else or used to market anything to you. I keep it while we are in touch, and delete it at the latest three years after our last exchange. To prevent bursts of messages, the IP address a message is sent from is kept in memory for ten minutes, then forgotten.
Your rights. You can access, correct or erase your data, restrict its use or object to it by writing to contact@svenmathieu.fr, and set instructions for what happens to it after your death. You can also complain at any time to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
Audience measurement. The site counts visits with Umami Cloud (Umami Software, Inc., USA), for my use only: no cookies, no persistent identifier, no tracking across sites. Your IP address is used only briefly, to place the visit at country or city level; I only see aggregate statistics. The transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. No advertising cookie is set.
The little games. Your fishing progress (your skill, your bag) stays in your browser, on your device; it is never sent to me. To erase it, clear this site’s data in your browser.
Ownership
The texts, pixel illustrations and code of this site are by Sven Mathieu, unless stated otherwise. The Sporting Grotesque and Compagnon typefaces come from Velvetyne, and Unbounded from Google Fonts, all under the SIL Open Font License.
Nods to video games and their lines are tributes: the names and trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.
